About SATX Camps

SATX Camps helps San Antonio families find the right camp for their kids without the usual scavenger hunt across out-of-date websites, Facebook groups, and dead links. We pull camps into one place, organize them by age, neighborhood, and interest, and keep the details a parent actually needs front and center: ages, dates, price ranges, and where the camp meets.

Who runs it

SATX Camps is a product of App-Ranch.com. We build and maintain the directory independently. We are not a camp operator and we are not affiliated with the City of San Antonio or any school district.

How camps get listed

Listings come from three places: camps we research directly, camps that providers and parents submit through our submit a camp form, and a small set of featured partner programs. Before a camp appears on the site, a human reviews it. Where we can, we verify dates, ages, and prices against the provider's own registration page. When a detail cannot be confirmed, we leave it out rather than guess.

Featured camps

A few programs are marked as featured. These are partners we work with directly, and they appear with their own full pages. Everything else in the directory is included on its own merits because it is genuinely useful to San Antonio families, not because of payment. We label featured camps clearly so you always know what you are looking at.

What we cover

We focus on the San Antonio metro, including Alamo Heights, Stone Oak, Downtown, the Northwest and Northeast sides, the Southside, and nearby communities such as Boerne, New Braunfels, Schertz, and Helotes. Camps span theatre, music, sports, STEM, arts, dance, outdoor, and academic programs for kids roughly ages 4 to 17.

Always verify before you pay

We work hard to keep listings accurate, but camps change their schedules and prices. Always confirm the details and complete registration on the camp provider's official website before paying a deposit. If you spot something out of date, email us and we will fix it.
